Andy founded Polaris Management Partners more than six years ago. Andy is frequently invited to speak at Pharma and Medical device compliance forums on topics ranging from state reporting and aggregate spend, Publication Policies, Fair Market Value, Grant and Speaker Portals, and is also the author of more than 15 articles published covering compliance and ethical topics in Scientific Affairs, Medical, Marketing and Sales. Prior to founding PMP, Andy was a Managing Director at Context Integration, a technology firm. Before this, he was a Senior Director of Operations at Merck-Medco, Senior Manager at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and Business Analyst at McKinsey & Co. Andy holds a BA in Business from Nijenrode University, an MSc in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Fred Eaton

Partner

Fred currently leads Polaris' Fair Market Value practice. Prior to joining Polaris, Fred founded Stonelea Management Group, a healthcare investment and consulting firm. Before founding Stonelea, Fred spent ten years with Praxair, a global medical and industrial gas manufacturer, where he served as the CFO of the company's healthcare division and sat on the company's healthcare compliance committee. In addition, he has spent five years as a consultant in Asia working with US and European clients to develop strategies for regional expansion. Fred holds a BA in economics from Harvard College and an MBA in finance and marketing from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Marc Eigner

Partner

Marc leads Polaris' technology practice and has implemented over eight grants management systems. He is an expert in pharmaceutical systems integration — including Oracle Apps, SAP, and Siebel. Additionally, Marc provides technology leadership on state and aggregate spend reporting assignments.

Previously, while at Accenture, Marc led the implementation of an Order-to-Cash solution in which he collected the requirements definition, developed new business processes, and designed the technical architecture. He has also managed a SAP eCommerce engagement's workplan, budget, and nine team members.

Marc worked in Accenture's technology practice for over six years. He has an MBA in IT Management, an MS in Computer and Systems Engineering, and a BS in Computer Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Mark Scallon

Director

Mark is an expert in project management and performing compliance audits/assessments for the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device industries. Mark currently leads Polaris' Audit Practice. Prior to working at Polaris, Mark was a Manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences Advisory Practice, a Senior Financial Analyst at Medco Health Solutions Client Business and Analysis Group, and the Financial and Business Administrator for Ambulatory Care at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Mark holds a B.A. in English from State University of New York (SUNY), College at Geneseo and a Master of Health Administration (MHA) from Cornell University's Sloan Program.

Chuck Bell

Director

Chuck, a Director at Polaris Management Partners, has more than 15 years of experience providing advisory services for major clients in the Life Sciences sectors. He has managed numerous Independent Review Organization teams for several clients in Promotional, off label and Sales and Marketing reviews at TAP and Schering-Plough. He has also managed IRO teams for other clients, such as Fresenius, Wal-Mart and Eckerd, submitting over 20 IRO reports to the government. Additional work includes proactive internal reviews for regulatory compliance, sales and marketing assessments, controls around dissemination of scientific materials, and internal investigations for compliance, both civil and criminal in nature. Chuck’s current role includes working with client service teams with diverse industry experience to execute work plans that identify current state controls and monitoring procedures as well as gap analysis with industry best practices. Prior to attending Saint Louis University School of Law, Chuck spent five years as a Registered Nurse working at Stanford and Washington University medical centers in critical care. Prior to joining Polaris, Chuck was a manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Life Science Practice.
